  • The Garden County Extension Office is seeking names of producers that need hay. There are donations being offered hourly but we don't know who needs it! Please reach out to the Extension office at 308-772-3311 so that we can get a list of producers that have been affected. We are looking for those with immediate needs and long-term!

  • Hyannis Ranch Supply 102 S Dellinger Avenue in Hyannis will be accepting livestock supplies and fencing items during business hours.

 

  • Heartland Lumber & Supply LLC , 410 Main Street, Oshkosh, NE will be accepting livestock, fencing and hay during normal business hours. M-F 7-5 Sat 7-noon. To schedule after hours donations please call Jordan at 308-458-7470.

 

  • Broadwater Country Store 117 Guthrie Street, Broadwater, NE will be accepting livestock, fencing and hay. Starting Monday. (will update with contact information later)

 

  • Crusty's Feed Store10 Swanson Drive, Arthur, NE will be accepting livestock, fencing and hay.

     

  • Alliance FFA will assist in rebuilding fences- Ashytn Vivian 308-760-1854 (Trailer at Ackerman Ag for wire and posts donations- reach out to Ackerman Ag to purchase posts directly 308-762-2144)

 

We are working on securing a location in the Ellsworth area.

American Red Cross – Nebraska

The Red Cross is actively operating evacuation shelters and providing:

-Temporary shelter and meals
-Health and mental‑health support
-Financial and recovery assistance referrals



Federal Assistance (FEMA)
-Nebraska has received approval for a Fire Management Assistance Grant (FMAG), which helps cover firefighting and response costs.

-FEMA may later expand assistance to individual households if damage thresholds are met.

-FEMA works in coordination with NEMA and county emergency managers.
