United Way of Western Nebraska has grant funding opportunities available on an annual basis for non-profit agencies focused on health, education and financial stability to fund the following fiscal year July 1- June 30. Available funding is based on the funds raised during the annual fundraising campaign. The application is generally available beginning in early February and is due by the first Friday in March. The application due date may change from year to year, please check our application instructions on our website for more details. Details may be found on our site at www.uwwn.org/grant.
Contingency funding provides nonprofit health and human service agencies and organizations an opportunity to seek funds for immediate response to pressing needs in our community, not otherwise being met through the annual United Way Funds Distribution process. Applications will be accepted from United Way member and non-member agencies. Nonprofit agencies interested in applying for United Way funding may send an inquiry to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 308-763-8031.
