OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS 

As established by the United Way of Western Nebraska, herein referred to as “United Way,” the following rules and regulations are hereby adopted to benefit the following 501 (c)(3) organization:

1. The entry portion of each duck permit must be filled out completely, delivered and received with the appropriate fee to the United Way office no later than 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2026, or filled out completely, delivered and received to the Official Rubber Duck Draw Entry Desk at the draw site on Friday, October 2, 2026, by 5:00 p.m.  Depending on availability, ducks will be sold until Friday, October 2, 2026 5:00 p.m. or until all ducks are sold, whichever comes first.
2. Duck numbers will be drawn at approximately 5:30 p.m., Friday, October 2, 2026.
3. A random number will be assigned and placed on a paper ticket by United Way. Multiple duck entries from one ticket will be assigned additional, random numbers for identification.
4. Once the Duck Draw starts, there will be no attempt to interfere with any tickets while the drawing is in progress.
5. The person’s names who appear on the entry ticket corresponding to the drawn ducks in order from 1 through 35, at the Duck Draw location, will be awarded the Rubber Duck Draw prizes.
6. The winners drawn will be announced immediately following the drawing at that site. Winners need not be present to win. If the winner does not claim his/her prize within 90 days after that date, the prize is forfeited and will be turned over to the United Way of Western Nebraska. Any winner of a duck draw prize will be responsible for any and all applicable taxes. The winner is responsible for pickup of their prize. United Way will not be responsible for delivery of prizes.
7. The first paper ticket to be drawn will be the Grand Prize winner.
8. The person’s name that appears on the entry ticket corresponding to the first duck (paper ticket) drawn will be awarded the Grand Prize, which is a 2026 Chevrolet Trax donated by TEAM Auto Center. The winner of the Grand Prize must provide all necessary Federal and State tax reporting information before receiving the prize. All the local, state, and federal taxes, fees and licenses are the winner’s responsibility. The winner will also be financially responsible for the removal of any decals associated with the Rubber Duck Draw. The Grand Prize may not be exchanged for cash or another vehicle or other prize without the consent and agreement of TEAM Auto Center and United Way of Western Nebraska as to the terms of any such exchange. Any exchange for cash, if consented to, will be for an amount less than retail value of the vehicle. That amount will be determined by TEAM Auto Center in its sole discretion. By accepting the Grand Prize, the winner agrees to release and hold harmless United Way and TEAM Auto Center and all their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability for an injury, loss or damage of any kind to persons and property, arising directly or indirectly, from or in connection with acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize.
9. If a minor wins the Grand Prize, a 2026 Chevrolet Trax, the transfer of the Grand Prize, will be made to a conservator for the minor or a custodian for the minor, under the Uniform Transfers to Minors Act before the car can be claimed.
10. No cash equivalent prizes will be provided in lieu of designated prizes by United Way.
11. The following people are not eligible: Staff members of United Way of Western Nebraska and/or spouses, United Way of Western Nebraska Board of Directors and/or spouses.
12. Chances of winning depends on the total number of qualified entries purchased.
13. This event is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
14. The conduct of the drawing and determination of winners will be the responsibility of the United Way. United Way will make all decisions and interpretations of these rules and its decisions will be final. A list of prizes can be obtained from United Way by sending a written request and self-addressed, stamped return envelope to: United Way of Western Nebraska, 1517 Broadway, Suite #106, Scottsbluff, NE 69361. United Way of Western Nebraska Rubber Duck Draw is not tax deductible.
