Scottsbluff – United Way of Western Nebraska is thrilled to announce the winners of the 2024-25 United Way Campaign Raffle for Cash, sponsored by Platte Valley Companies. Devan Collins of Box Butte General Hospital in Alliance, Wendy Kemling-Horner with Scottsbluff Public Schools, Blake Nikont with Scottsbluff Public Schools and Crystal Venable with Gering Public Schools were the lucky recipients each winning a $500 cash prize. They became eligible for the raffle through their generous donations to support United Way. All four winners this year are part of United Way Pacesetter campaigns and had the opportunity to donate to United Way of Western Nebraska through payroll giving.
Two prize presentation took place to present the winners with their cash prizes. In Scottsbluff, Platte Valley Company representatives Amy Doll and Tony Kaufman, alongside United Way Executive Director Karen Benzel and United Way Campaign & Community Impact Coordinator Jessie Lopez, congratulated the winners and presented their cash prizes to Blake, Crystal and Wendy.
In Alliance, Rob Bila, Platte Valley Bank Community President, Massie Clough, PVC Alliance Branch, and Traci Craig, PVC Alliance Branch, were on hand with Karen Benzel to present Devan Collins her prize money.
Tony Kaufman, Scottsbluff/Gering Community President remarked, “Giving back is at the heart of our values. We are proud to support United Way and sponsor the Raffle for Cash prizes because together as a community, we can create meaningful change.”
