Scottsbluff –United Way of Western Nebraska is thrilled to announce the winners of the 2023-24 United Way Campaign Raffle for Cash, sponsored by Platte Valley Bank. Mark Gillam of Floyd’s Trucking in Scottsbluff, Dr. Vince and Vickie Bjorling of Scottsbluff, and Loren Holub of Team Auto were the lucky recipients each winning a $500 cash prize. They became eligible for the raffle through their generous donations to support United Way. In a heartwarming display of generosity, all three winners chose to donate their winnings back to United Way.
The prize presentation took place in Scottsbluff, where Platte Valley Company representatives Amy Doll and Julie Thompson, alongside United Way Executive Director Karen Benzel, congratulated the winners and presented their cash prizes.

We appreciate all United Way does for our communities and this is small way we are a part of that.”
United Way of Western Nebraska is a nonprofit organization that unites people and resources to build a stronger, healthier and more compassionate community. They support 25 local nonprofit agencies in the areas of education, health and financial stability. They have been reinvesting in Western Nebraska since their inception in 1945.
