Scottsbluff – United Way of Western Nebraska is thrilled to announce the winners of the 2025–26 United Way Campaign Raffle for Cash, proudly sponsored by Platte Valley Companies.

This year’s lucky winners—each receiving a $500 cash prize—are:

Alyssa Mitchell-Gonzalez, Western Nebraska Community College, Scottsbluff

George Holthus, City of Gering

Chris Lind, Bytes Managed IT

Jon Doyle, Sidney Federal Savings & Loan

All four individuals became eligible for the drawing through their generous contributions to United Way of Western Nebraska. Each winner is a participant in a United Way Pacesetter Campaign and had the opportunity to give through the convenience of payroll deduction, helping make a lasting impact in their community.

“Giving back is part of who we are at Platte Valley Bank,” said Tony Kaufman, Community President. “We love partnering with United Way because of their dedication to improving lives right here at home. A big thank you goes out to all the individuals who support United Way through payroll deduction, and we’re glad to provide a little extra motivation to give by sponsoring the Raffle for Cash prize money.”

To celebrate the occasion, prize presentations were held in Scottsbluff and Sidney.

In Scottsbluff, Platte Valley Companies representatives Tony Kaufman, Platte Valley Community President, and Kayla Milton, Assistant Vice President–Commercial Lender, joined United Way of Western Nebraska Executive Director Karen Benzel and Campaign & Community Impact Coordinator Jessie Lopez to congratulate Alyssa Mitchell-Gonzalez, George Holthus, and Chris Lind and present their prizes.

In Sidney, Jessie Lopez, United Way of Western Nebraska Campaign & Community Impact Coordinator presented Jon Doyle with his cash prize.
