29th Annual United Way Duck Draw | United Way of Western Nebraska

Scottsbluff, NE – United Way of Western Nebraska is thrilled to announce the launch of duck sales for the 29th Annual Duck Draw, proudly presented by Team Auto Center. As United Way’s largest fundraising event, the Duck Draw plays a vital role in supporting 22 local nonprofit programs that serve our community in the areas of healthy living, financial stability, youth opportunity, and community resiliency.

Each duck purchased is an entry into the Duck Draw and a chance to win one of 35 incredible prizes, generously donated by local businesses. This year’s Grand Prize is a brand-new 2026 Chevrolet Trax, courtesy of Team Auto Center. The Second Prize is a 2026 Honda Pioneer 500cc Side-by-Side, donated in part by Sandberg Honda. Additional prizes include cash, gift cards, and more, with a total prize value exceeding $50,000!

This year’s Duck Draw will feature a Community BBQ—on Friday, October 2^nd at the Gering Plaza in Gering. The BBQ kicks off at 4:00 p.m., with the duck drawing beginning at 5:30 p.m. on event day.

How to Get Your Ducks

Ducks can be purchased online at www.uwwn.org/duck using a debit card, or at the following locations:

Quacky Trio (3 Ducks): $25
Quacky Combo (7 Ducks for the price of 6): $60

Purchasing a Quacky Trio or Combo includes a Quack Sack—a fun bonus featuring 3 pages of coupons to local merchants and a commemorative rubber duck. You do not need to be present to win.

Kicking off the special onsite sales is Runza in Gering (1250 13th Street) on Thursday, July 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. As an added bonus, everyone who purchases a Quacky Combo will receive a $25 Runza gift card, courtesy of Runza, while supplies last.
