Addressing hunger in the community is a strategic priority for United Way of Western Nebraska. Through the United Food Network, we partner with local organizations and businesses to bring food directly to local families. This robust network includes the following United Way Community Impact programs:
United Way of Western Nebraska champions Imagination Library in Box Butte and Dawes Counties. Imagination Library provides one free age-appropriate book per month to children birth through age 5 at no cost to children or their family promoting early literacy. Whether it is a neighbor without health insurance, a victim of abuse, or someone struggling with mental illness or an addiction, United Way of Western Nebraska is working to ensure everyone has access to affordable and quality care.
