United Way of Western Nebraska has grant funding opportunities available on an annual basis for non-profit agencies focused on health, education and financial stability to fund the following fiscal year July 1- June 30. Available funding is based on the funds raised during the annual fundraising campaign. The application is generally available beginning in early February and is due by the first Friday in March. CONTINGENCY REQUESTS
Contingency funding provides nonprofit health and human service agencies and organizations an opportunity to seek funds for immediate response to pressing needs in our community, not otherwise being met through the annual United Way Funds Distribution process. Applications will be accepted from United Way member and non-member agencies. Nonprofit agencies interested in applying for United Way funding may send an inquiry to kbenzel@uwwn.org or call 308-763-8031.
