Fighting Hunger in Our Community

Fighting Hunger in Western Nebraska is a top priority for United Way of Western Nebraska. Our Fighting Hunger in Our Community Initiative is held annually to address Food Insecurity in our area. Bags of food including meat, dairy, shelf stable products and fresh produce are distributed directly to food insecure families and individuals. During the 2021-22 program, 1425 bags of food were distributed directly to food insecure individuals and families.
