Go on a 5K for United Way! Run, jog, walk or roll 5k from any location you choose from 9/21/20 through 10/31/20, email a selfie of you and your route with your time to bbc@uwwn.org to be entered to win 1 of 3 prize baskets!
How does a Virtual race work?
1. Register for the race. Cost is $25 {includes a t-shirt or tank OR you can upgrade your shirt choice to a long sleeved tee ($28) or hooded t-shirt ($31)} by clicking on register now. Your race goodies can be picked up at the United Way office or mailed to you if you are out of the area!
2. You can run, jog or walk on a trail, on the treadmill, in the hills, on the track, whatever location you choose! Run (or walk) your own race, at your own pace and time yourself. There are lots of free apps that track time, route and distance. Choose your favorite one and track your race route, time and completion! Complete 5k on your own or with your family or group anytime before October 31, 2020 at Midnight.
3. Email your race route that includes distance and time (or take a picture of your treadmill with distance after your 5k) to bbc@uwwn.org by October 31, 2020 at midnight. Selfies before, during or after your race are welcome. Show us you're having fun on the 5k for United Way!<--- this step enters you to win a race basket!
